This restaurant describes its cuisine as Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Thai. I would simply describe it as delicious. The portions of the Pad Thai, the chicken dish, and the beef dish leaned toward the generous side with no skimping on the meat. The sauces were light and flavourful . The ambience was pleasant and enhanced our ding experience. Our server was gracious always making sure our water glasses were filled and we were content with the meal. If you are stopping by Riviere Du Loup , include this restaurant in your agenda.
Service was very good. Pleasant surroundings. I had the Tom Yam soup which I had to send back to be reheated as it was lukewarm, it was supposed to be spicy but it was not. However it did have a nice taste. My husband had ordered the Royal soup, they were out of the scallops and asked what he would like to replace it with. He choice shirmp, it was very good. I had the Imperial bowl, which was very bland, needed to have spices added. However the food was fresh.
If you are looking for Asian food this is the place in Rivière-du-Loup. Everything on the menu is exquisite and I truly enjoy going there everytime I am in the area. There is also the NOUILLERIE that is in the basement and one street below the Les Jardins LOTUS. The food is excellent and it is very cheap. A lot of students go there for lunch as their meals are filling, well-balanced and cheap. They have vegetarian options too.
We love Asian food. Being Australian we travel to all parts of Asia regularly so know authentic from the other.We ordered the special, 3 courses for $20. The crab soup was fairly tasteless and used " artificial" crab flavoured sticks. The rest of the meal was very bland and needed a whole dish of hot chilli to spice it up.I would say average food but I assume they " bland it down" to suit everyone.

We were in Rivière du Loup for one evening after having taken the ferry and were looking for something differing and opted for this restaurant. The food was so unlike any oriental food that I have ever had. The flavor, spices, service, and presentation. were all off. I can not recommend this restaurant!
Food was excellent, lots of fresh vegetables. The restaurant was a bit warm (the air conditioning wasn't great.) Price was reasonable considering what you got
Decent & honest food, but not the real McCoy. Missing some spice & heat. Tom Yum soup is not spicy enough. General Tao was a bit disappointing...
Overall the food was decent but nothing exceptional. The service was ok. The decor was very pleasant although table spacing was a little close.

Very Nice dinner : we had a very good prepared meal . IT tasted very Well and the prizes were reasonable.
I pass through this quaint and charming town on the StLawrence once a year, and I always eat here.
