- general rating on /10 in the price range : 6- I will come back: yes, but only in case of need to the vars neck (there is no other point of restoration)- general comment/synthesis: this small point of restoration, mainly omelettes, is really out of time. For lack of competition we stop here for a small omelette, a dessert and a drink. The boss is very kind if we know how to soften this “bugon” and then he is expensive compared to other altitude chalets where it is possible to restore normally unlike here.Breef we come here for the terrace and its decks when it is beautiful (by the bad weather the boss does not come and the Igloo stays closed) or for a big thirst. So here this little trouble...
short of water during a hike, we stopped to fill our cans. I would like to point out that this establishment has the water glass or the cannon filling 0.50 €! Despite this high price, we asked the boss to fill us 2 bidons, he said "you wait, I have real customers to serve". We waited 2 minutes before we were sent out by the cook, on a particularly unpleasant tone. We left without water for the end of our rando. Visiting friends, stop at the vars pass for photos only and restore yourself to the Napoleonic refuge or to vars, you will certainly be better received.
eating wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. the crêpe was not the best I ever had and I would recommend that you have an salate or a burger, as the meat was not very good. but if they only stop for a quick lunch...their dehors is in the sun and they are at the point show, opposite a sessellift.
special place, with friendly and very special (bit older) French man, everything from his own. make sure that they are not 14-16p.m ursache of the break. crepes were delicious, after 4km foot we were hungry!
