The terrace is very nice, with lovely trees and a playground for children. Unfortunately, the service we had was extremely bad. First of all, it took them a while to find us a place to seat when the restaurant was half empty and we had previously booked a table. Once we ordered it took them half an hour to bring the appetizers and more than half an hour more to bring the first courses. The second course took them a long while too and the meat and side dishes were overcooked. We had to ask them to bring a new dish. The impression was that the waiters and the kitchen were disorganized and they had to cook the food at least twice since it was sitting idle over the counter waiting for someone to...
Great authentic Catalan place for a quick and affordable weekdays lunch, but also a brilliant Sunday family lunch! Lots of choice, fresh roasted 'pa amb tomaquet ', grilled meats and fish, changing seasonal delights like grilled artichokes, snails, and much more! These guys also make a mean paella, even for one person, if asked kindly. The waiters might seem a bit stressed at first, but they are lovely and accurate people, and aways up for a good laugh!
The dishes are a bit random. Some were good, others not so much. Too much lottery for my taste with the total bill. The place is cute. If you go rogue, they can play outside while the grown-ups drink coffee. Being a barbecue place with the kitchen in sight, it is inevitable to go out with the clothes to wash. The staff is very friendly, but we had to ask for the bill too many times and it took half an hour to get it.
