The personel in the Namaste Restaurant was not very friendly. We came in and were asked if we had a reservation. We did not. Without any comment we were being seated at the table right next to the smelly toilet in an otherwise completely...empty restaurant! The dishes were ok. Mine Aloo Palak was ok, but too salty. As I am vegan I had ordered it because it was one of the few dishes not containing milk but then there was clearly some cream on top. My husband had Karahi Paneer, and that was good. Altogether the quality of the dishes was a on our internal Indian restaurant scale from The bill came without the usual sugar coated fennel seeds, which we saw other guests had. Disappointing
Staff were friendly, but I think prices were too high! It seems they do not use professional chefs! Chicken Tandoori served so exciting and hot but didn't taste really cooked and wellspiced, not sufficient bread served beside the main dish, and for more bread we...have been charged €!! Basmati rice, wasn't the best quality and smelled a little. For that price, I expected more. Decoration was also so old and average. I love Indian food but I won't go there again
Entering the restaurant on the first floor a smell of Indian spices welcomed us. We had a reservation for a pax of and were brought to a long table. The service was friendly and decent. Drinks and food came in time and the taste...of the food was really good. All of us liked it very much, even the one among us from Asia. A next visit is for sure..
Super leckeres Restaurant mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern und vielen vegetarischen Speisen. Auch einige vegane Gerichte sind vorhanden, jedoch sind diese nicht explizit markiert. Wir gehen super gerne dort essen und ich bin sehr froh um das einzige indische Restaurant in der Umgebung. Book a table now
Friends are regulars and like this restaurant. Popadoms were cold and mango chutney didn't bear any resemblance to any I have had previously, very watery. I had the paneer in chilli sauce. It was ok. Nice bottle of dry German wine
we ordered for samosas, chicken pakoda and paneer pakoda.and coffee too...coffee was very cold..samosas were over priced..no one to attend to..everytime I had to call someone to order..maybe not going in the near future
Food options available are plenty but its a bit overpriced. Also, interiors look more Pakistani than Indian in general badly done. However, the food I my friends ordered was good in taste, so a mixed experience
what can I say? Typical indian food. There have a vegetarian menu. You can order all meals in vegan. Every dish contains rice. Siegen is small and to find vegan food is hard enough to find. But not at Namaste. Book a table now
Shame of india. There is nothing good at that restaurant. They are so rude and dont know anything about real indian food.
