Been here a few times now and it's one of my favourite places to eat in Paderborn. It wasn't what I imagined as "Greek food"... I was expecting moussaka, kleftiko, calamari, briam... All the traditional Greek dishes. What it is though, is a cheesy, merry paradise! Be careful when you order starters because you get a whole course of "bits" consisting of cheese, Geeek salad, and bread, which are included anyway. The first time I went, I ordered chicken souvlaki because it was the most Greek-sounding thing on the menu and reminded me of holidays, but I had serious food envy when I compared my boring chicken skewer with my mates' plates of lush red meat... We went to the restaurant on a Friday night but it was full to the brim so we booked a table for the Saturday at 18,30.On arrival we were greeted by the owner and shown to our table. I found the area we were seated to be a bit small and felt slightly cramped in.With the food and drinks ordered, we also received a salad plate,grilled vegetable dish,slices of very fresh baguette bread,pastry puffs and two glasses of Ouzo,all are included within the meal price.The food was well presented on the plate and tasted great.Service was quick,good and with a smile.On requesting the bill we received another two glasses of Ouzo.I would revisit Nikopolis again and recommend it to friends.
I was invited to nikopolis by a friend on the occasion of her birthday. we were four and have eaten a la carte. I had laughs with Mediterranean vegetables. but before our main foods came, we were only spoiled with the appetizers of the house, which however relatiw strongly appease italian, little Greek...main thing tasty so to speak!The service is also very good: friendly, attentive, but unobtrusive.This was not my first visit there and will not have been the last!

delicious, fresh food! especially the standard supplements, such as fried vegetables or small leafy particles are worth the visit. there is also a variety of meats and fish dishes, paired with a nice service...we are happy to come back!
no typical grieche - who wants to have his kreta teller can have it but otherwise have a clean card with individual set, in addition a nice starter selection included in the price
Lovely food, with freebie nibbles to start. Friendly staff. Small outside area in the summer. Great menu choice.
