After a day of biking along le canal du midi we ended up here for our dinner. We sat outside on the terrasse for a whole night. Had a simple but wonderful meal with a good bottle of wine. The waitress( also hotelowner) was very friendly and nice. The cook explained his wonderful lambstewish dish later on. In short we enjoyed an wonderful good and simple evening. Hope to come back some day and then also stay at the hotel! Loved it!
We walked up from the canal, without reservations and were delighted with this meal. It was incredibly hot during this week, so all of the dinners chose to eat in the garden, and enjoy a wonderful twilight. The staff was very hospitable to our basically non-French speaking group. Most of our party chose the meal of the day which consists of entree, main dish and dessert.The food was delicious. Highly recommended.
We were pretty tired of our first day on Canal du Midi so we enjoyed the dinner at hotel restaurant. Do not expect gourmet, but it is realy rewarding and was good.
Having meal in a great little hotel tucked away from the Canal found by chance, made very welcome with superb food. Well worth a visit.
