A place I discovered 35 years ago that looks stainless. I only go there every 2 to 3 years but I have never been disappointed. My last visit to the Oberjaegerhof ticked all the boxes of the evening I imagined for a hot summer day: a bucolic and shaded terrace, a quiet place, cuisine without unpleasant surprises at a reasonable price. I enjoyed the garlic and chive tarte flambée and the fool leaves it there with morels is a tasty dish that you don't see very often. In short, no regrets despite the big detour due to road work.
this restaurant is historic for many of the Strasbourg who could enjoy traditional cuisine in a warm setting. All this, place at the factory. limited map, very medium dishes in offset with prices, amateur service totally overflowed and disorganized, badly cooked meats, waiting between dishes. Anyway, nothing goes into this house. only the shaded terrace remains in keeping with the memory of the past. Too bad.
We came back for the fourth time in this great restaurant! reception always as friendly, very pleasant service. and say products, fresh and well cooked. The milk pig is extra, well seasoned crudities. Salmon on potato cake is tasty (felicitation for smoked salmon by your care). Anyway, another nice evening spent on this beautiful terrace.
service miserable, I had a insect and then I had it, of course, the management was not even apologizing and was extremely unpleasant with me. Moreover they wanted to make me pay while there was still an insect (cafard). I'll never come back again!

Absolutely beautiful and delicious in an amazing environment. There are plenty of locals and it features real Alsatian specialties. Everything was delicious. Great services. I am salivating thinking of it.
the tf is excellent, the Alsatian atmosphere and real field close to the streak, we are in the middle of nature near beautiful trees (beech, oaks). The historic server is nice! a recommendation.
