After really thundery afternoon called at 8.30 pm on the off chance. The place was almost deserted with only 2 other couples present. Admittedly it was a Monday evening. Pleasant table outside in walled area - little noisy with the main road running alongside. Service was first rate no rush but efficient in that French way. We chose the a la carte with wonderful starters , my tuna was extremely nice. I had the entrecôte which was a little disappointing - tasted really good but was a little tough and only served with chips - as in France . My wife's scallops were well presented and with a rich sauce were excellent. The average price rose was "ok"

It was a pleasure to dine here; the menus were very much like an up-scale fine restaurant. Everything made in house, the selections were of the current season and imaginative. The main courses were cooked to perfection and the sides matched well. The wine select featured many local wines - we pick a Laudun CDR villages that was awesome, and reasonably priced. The cheese tray was quite varied, all aged to optimum flavour Great value!

Pail Itier has really stepped it up in the last year. Feb 14 dinner was innovative and delicious. Set menu, chef's choice, prepared and served with great care. Langoustine, whole bar (stuffed on the dorsal, no less) and a trio of dessert delights. We've changed our minds about PI.Keep it up!

Reasonably priced menu with all the food well presented. There had been a change in ownership since a prior visit 2 years ago. The restaurant was now a lot more appealing as It had been modernised to a high standard
