We have visited the Schienfatt more often and are completely enthusiastic about the kitchen. Fresh, high-quality and regional ingredients make the chef creative dishes that convince both palate and eye! There are always self-baked bread with different butter creations and hints. It follows a greeting from the kitchen that awakens more. After the main dish, chosen from a small, regularly changing card, self-made chocolates are sufficient regardless of whether you have already chosen a dessert. About two years ago we discovered the Schienfatt and have been there for about ten times for all possible occasions with friends, colleagues or family and have never been disappointed. Ms. Schoon makes a perfect service, friendly, reserved and always attentive. Mr Lambertus conjures in the kitchen the most tasty creations of high-quality and regional ingredients at affordable prices and has always new and original ideas . The Schienfatt is for us the best and most cozy restaurant in the area, the way from Oldenburg to Varel has always rewarded for us.
It was the last meal of our bike tour and a real highlight. Here the ambience is right with tables that still distance themselves, a very friendly and absolutely attentive service and simply really good food. We had the 5-course menu and a beautiful bottle of rose. Personally, only the two sauces to the flesh were somewhat too strong. But that is ultimately a matter of taste. To the blissful conclusion then again a few homemade chocolates from the house. A really nice evening.
Once again in the Schienfatt with friends and as always everything perfect! If you are all good eaters and compared to other restaurants of this price class (as in Oldenburg,Dangast,Whv,Bremen...) you will also only get from a main course Satt. We look forward to the next visit
