jag hamnade här rätt sent en måndagskväll för middag och då var det inte speciellt mycket folk. restaurangen är väldigt enkelt och rustikt inredd. det känns verkligen som en traditional restaurang. inget tjafs liksom! maten är främst traditional schweizisk, så det är mycket kött på menyn. jag kommer inte ihåg exact vad jag beställde men det var en kötträtt. portionen var inte jättestor men lagom för mig och utsökt. servicen var utmärkt. maten, servicen och den enkla, rustika inredningen kan inte ge restaurangn något annat betyg än utmärkt.
one of the oldest bred zürichs and notable vereines have their trunk in the white wind. a mixed publikum as usual hardly applicable here bratwurst with rösti or a deftigen salat. repainting every couple of years and leaving everything old - what more does it take? no chi-chi, honest beiz in the best sense.
Our hotel was closed by and we wanted some local food rather than hotel food. Was very happy with the food and service. We took the recommendations from the waitress and we're not disappointed. We tried a few meals and deserts and all were delicious.
I do recommend this posted to all who visit Zürich and try to find a place where you can eat traditional food and enjoy it in a easy going environment. No glitter, just straight good and simple. Swiss!
