Stayed at the hotel, so ate in the restaurant. Had the option of the BBQ all you can eat 19euro menu, and the main menu. 2 of the group had the BBQ, which they enjoyed - lots of choice, small pieces so you could have quite a selection - only thing we would say is that for our taste it was slightly over cooked [but we like rare meat!] I had the pork fillet with spatzle and chanterelle sauce which was superb. Dessert menu is mainly based on strawberries, and to be honest a little over priced, but very nice. Was nice to be able to eat outside under the trees, good service and some English spoken if you need it.
The selection is fantastic, the food is great, and the service is wonderful. The Argentinische Filet Steak is truly the best I've had in Germany. The grilled octopus is to die for. You better make reservations. Parking can be s challenge. It is on a narrow side street. Nice patio in warm months. We have eaten here several times and always bring our business guests.
We booked in advance as we knew we'd be arriving late in Stuttgart and needed vegetarian food. The service was very good, all the waiters spoke excellent English and although the vegetarian options were limited, the starters were delicious. The wine list was extensive and we were very pleased with our E24 bottle of burgundy.
Our group of 18 or so was given a long table in the rear room indoors in the Weinstube. The service was considerate and attentive, the food and drink were as described on the menu, and the prices more than reasonable. What's more the waitress had no problem in producing separate bills for each individual or couple.

Friendly, competent, attentive service, great regional food very well prepared on the basis of top quality ingredients, good regional wine selection. Radiant wine cellar ambiance without being too noisy. Also recommendable for groups of twelve or more.
Friendly staff. Traditionally decorated. First course tasty. Maine course, deer cooked dry and no taste. Acceptable thanks to the sauce. No dessert available because the kitchen staff was gone.The staff had forgotten to warn us.
I had dinner here in a party of three while staying at the nearby Hotel Hirsch. The style was traditional German: not overly fancy but of excellent quality. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The price category of the place is above the average. Traditional, old restaurant, with very nice friendly atmosphere. The dishes are tasty, above the average, but maybe not spectacular.
