I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service...
If you're interested in an elegant, white tablecloth, quiet, upholstered chair, peaceful dining experience I can, after two visits now, heartily recommend Restaurant 506 in Arlington at the Sanford House B&B. Nicely poured cocktails, good wine list and a menu that should satify most tastes. Today we shared the crab cake with Arugula appetizer and the 4 oz tenderloin entree. Our server brought the crab cake out divided on separate plates and we halved the tenderloin, potatoes and asparagus. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly rare and the accompanying sauce which we would have loved a lot more of was very nice. The crab cake was quite good. A bit far from things, but nothing you can 't get to with lyft, which was way cheaper here than Uber, especially if you call ahead. So very beautiful interior and exterior with classy details so very pleasing to the eye. I am sure you will love it, don 't forget to fill in the guess book in the desk drawer at least there is where it was in our room the Braham 's . They have a library where you can swap your finished book, so bring one , plenty of gorgeous seating areas to choose from inside or out. Breakfast is fixed menu, but very elegant. We had a great time at the River Crab on 4th of July. The weather was spectacular so we decided to sit outside. It was perfect - the yellow umbrellas and the blue sky and water made a serene setting. Our waitress was attentive and met all our needs. The food was excellent and we hated to leave. We will definitely be back and I have been spreading the word about this place. Watching the boats on the water is a big plus. We hope to come back for a sailboat ride and lunch now that is being offered during the week.

Service was slow. Waitress got order wrong, resulting in one entree being served 10 minutes after the others. Great location.
