Did not know what to expect,went there after reading about it on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed.It was all very very Spanish.Very busy,we were there about 1.30 PM and had a table,it soon filled up with people waiting at the bar for a table. The menu was all in Spanish,but we managed OK. Several choices of different soups and cold meats for 1st course,big salad,fish or meat for main course,we chose Cerdo Secreto,best pork we have ever eaten,followed by several choices of desert,we chose cheese cake,followed by Bel monte coffee and a bottle of wine....The bill was 18 euros!!Fantastic.
My favourite restaurant in the Port . Totally Spanish, totally excellent. Please don 't go if you are a tourist looking for some bland 'International ' non food in a pretty place. There are no menus, no English spoken and the food is totally trad Spanish. No gritty 'paellas ' or 'Gambas in garlic oil or bad tortilla here. They don 't need you. The place is constantly heaving and you may find yourself crammed up a corner at a formica table in the bar. That is part of the fun! The food is wonderful, the staff mega efficient, I cannot fault it.
We have eaten here tons of times in the day and the evening. It is family run, very busy and a great atmosphere. They have good tapas and menu. The brothers who serve front of house are efficient and friendly. You cannot beat their menu deal dia and I highly recommend it.
