I came back to Barrancabermeja after twenty years. The small town on the side of the river Magdalena is more organized, although the area is still pressed by the fall of the oil price. Nevertheless, La Cazuela restaurant remains the best restaurant in the city. I only give it five stars because I love memories of the taste of this fish soup from my childhood. It deserves four stars by great service, delicious patacons and delicious soup. I didn't like the Mayo being added to the soup. It would be very rare if a tourist came to this city. Price ranges from $33,000 pesos to $50.000 pesos per cazuela. For a party of eight were $430,000 pesos, about $160 dollars.

This is a relatively expensive restaurant for the average in Barranca Catering, especially the oil and gas community. Recently past lunch, which proved to be excellent. The menu is somewhat limited, but you really only go for one thing... and that's their selection of fish-casroles. I had the mixed seafood caserole that was presented with one side with the help of rice and a delicious fried plantain. Salsa was also great. Would definitely go back and try this place again. The service was a little slow, but when we left, the place was busy.

An elegant restaurant for a deliciously heavy lunch, where many of your fellow diners are wearing steel-toed boots. Awesome! The small portion was already almost too much for me. When it comes to seafood stews, this is the place. Yum!
