Long awaited date night with hubby. Honestly, the service was amazing. The host made us feel welcomed and took the time to help us pick out a wine for the evening. It was refreshing to talk to someone that really loves his job. He was an excellent sommelier. We decided to go with the menu for MTL à la table. We had the chance to sit inside for our meal and enjoy our dessert on the terrace. Food was amazing! Highly recommend you try this place out.
Order the Le Mr. Krabs (on the secret drink menu)! As the name suggests, Le Polisson has a mischievous atmosphere decor and staff. The food was good although not the night’s highlight, it was our waiter Charles. He was very attentive, but he was also a real imp! He made us a fantastic specialty drink since they did not have the ingredients for the Bikini Bottom cocktail. The night was a real pleasure, definitely visiting again when I’m in town.
What a fantastic little spot! The food here is not only delicious, but the service is exceptional. Our server, Charles, was an absolute gem. We first visited Montreal in December 2021, and he made such a memorable impression that we returned in May 2022 specifically to dine at Le Polisson again. We were delighted to see new items added to the menu, enjoy the lovely patio in the back, and received a stellar 11/10 service from Charles!
Chef Mark made it a point to welcome us, talk to us about the menu and provide recommendations. Chef’s kindness and attentiveness was on a level I haven’t experienced in a long time while dining and made this restaurant stand out above all others we have visited in Montreal. I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was incredible, and the staff truly went above and beyond. Our chef, who was extremely generous, even surprised our kids with ice cream and treats when he saw us at the shop next door. I was genuinely taken aback by his kindness. The grilled cheese was the best I've ever had, and the risotto was simply perfect.
We accidentally discovered this fantastic restaurant, and it was a wonderful surprise. The smoked prawns, lobster dinners, and chocolate cake were all excellent. It was one of the best meals I've had in Montreal, and the prices were very reasonable. The team running the place is also delightful. Bravo!
Enjoyed my dinner at Resto Le Polisson! Kind and helpful wait staff and the food/drinks were enjoyable as well. The nice weather allowed us to enjoy our dinner in the back patio, which had a nice look and feel.
