Not only is the food truly capital-G Good and the drink equal parts satisfying and intoxicating, but this place is doing genuine Good in a way to make JS Mill proud. We enjoyed so many things about this place. The tables, menus, and ambience were just right for us today. The purpose and story of the place is great. We had some appetizers which were just perfect. Then for entree I had the skirt steak quesadilla which was the most intense quesadilla I've ever had. It was emanating burrito vibes and top shelf flavor. Nice people, noble concept. Last two visits food was a little under par. It seems maybe the menu is too ambitious for the kitchen to pull off. No offence but maybe kichen size, menu, prep pars, equipment, staff need tweeking. Been there a few times, one of first customers in fact. Just not what it started as, sorry.
The short rib sandwich was extremely filling and full of flavor. The wagyu meatballs were perfectly cooked but the calamari was left in the fryer for too long. It was pure crunch and no flavor. Would recommend but I would probably rethink the fried options.

Delicious food and cocktails. The inside was smaller than I expected and there is a covered outdoor area. Overall great experience, would recommend to someone.
