Rheinhotel Lamm - Table reservation

WE chose this for dinner as they had menu in English. It overlooked the river too so was nice setting. The food was good and reasonably priced. We chose to sit outside and it was very popular. We had rumpsteak with chips and schnizel. We chose to eat there again another night as dinner wasnt povided in the hotel. again the food was good, and the terrace was full. whilst there are lots of eating places in Assmannhausen, many are shut for hols, or only open certain days, so choices can be limited. these were open every day, which is why we chose them.

Fabulous place to eat, on a recent short break we ate there twice. The wines are outstanding especially the Assmanshauser Hollenberg. Food is varied and great menu choices from Pork, Beef, Chicken to Fish. Fantastic service and friendly staff!! Lovely situation. Had eaten here a few times ten years ago and hadnt changed. Family owners!!

We we staying at Rheinhotel and tried the restaurant. My wife and I had the fried trout with potatoes and salad. The fish was excellent, seasoned just right! Our waiter was very friendly and the beer was cold. All in all, a fantastic meal! Highly recommend you try it.

Don’t expect german portions: plate service, just enough, but nothing more. Mushrooms with cream, but the cream was a little absent. Schweineruecken was good. You can ask anything at the servants, but you dont get it. View on the terrace is nice.

An Outstanding Dinner with smaller portion options. Wines and aperitifs were well chosen. Service was prompt and flawless
