Ricatoni's Italian Grill

Dined at Ricatoni's lastnight. When we first walked in the 2 hostesses that were at the door were annoyed that we even walked through the door. The attituded dripped from their voice when they asked us how many (2). When the hostess sat us she slammed the menus down and walked off. When the hostess returned with our bread she slammed those down on the table as well, and walked off. The server was excellent and the food was wonderful. The hostesses appearance was not the best, they both look as if they just rolled out of bed and threw a dirty over sized shirt. First let me start by saying our server, Ethan, was top notch. The atmosphere was great, but with that being said, the food was not as good as people hype it up to be. The house made caesar dressing was fishy, the noodles were undercooked, almost hard and chewy, the chicken breast was very over done to the point the breeding was almost burnt. Everything was super salty. My husband said that his pork chop was not fresh. Now with that being said, the Calamari was delightful, and so was the fried mozzarella. It may just be we have to find something we like from there with us not being locals!

Old time Restaurant! A MUST For Florence! Italian food you can't get anywhere else. Such a good taste and old time building. Vintage feel. Originality everywhere you look. Service is fast and always great!

Delicious, large portions. Attentive service. Fair prices. Would definitely go back! I loved the chicken parm and my friends loved their ravioli. Awesome bread, too!
