The taiyaki crust resembled a light pancake that was well-cooked and crispy, although a few parts were slightly undercooked. As for the flavors, I enjoyed the Vanilla Custard the most; it had a delightful creamy texture and a subtle vanilla taste. The Ube was decent as well, featuring a mild flavor. However, the Golden Oreo was quite disappointing – it lacked taste and felt like I was munching on bland pudding. I've seen other reviews mention different items on the menu that seem appealing, but I didn't get the chance to try them. Overall, I think the taiyaki could benefit from a bit more cooking time and a bolder flavor profile. While I believe it’s worth trying once to see if it suits you...

Save your money!! I was so disappointed with this place.I had bookmarked this place to try and saw they had a stand at The Block. I was surprised at the $5 cost of one item, but I should've saved the money. The first picture was when I opened the bag. The pancake split open itself and all the filling was oozed out. I tried it anyway. The dough wasn't good. Very light and breaks apart easily. Not chewy at all. The fish is also not enclosed around the pastry, so the filling just fell out.I took it back and asked for a different flavor: ube. I was thinking the filling would be thicker, but it was the same as the vanilla. I should've went to the store in the shopping center to get a frozen pack,...

I had a underwhelming experience. I followed their directions for pickup but no one came out to deliver the food at the appointed time. We waited in the car but saw that people were just ringing the doorbell and picking up. He admitted that he was not checking the pickup texts and apologized.Well, my order was cold and it was not worth the hype. I expected better quality since you are pre ordering a week in advance at a specific time. The sesame ube mochi balls looked as though it was made many hours in advance and was left cold. The grease had pooled through and I didn't feel good after eating. I can see how it would be tasty if it was fresh. Unfortunately, this place is a pass for me.

Back when you were able to pick up their taiyaki from Frontier Kitchen, the quality was much better. It was the traditional consistency of a fully sealed pastry and generous filling. Now that you can only get them at farmers markets and events, not only is it less accessible, the quality has gone down. Most of the time it's just been small amounts of filling squished between fish-shaped pancakes. Do they still taste good? Yes. I understand that switching to selling at stalls possibly requires faster procedures, but I wish they went back to whatever method they used before that wasn't sloppy. Book a table now

While exploring the Bethesda Farmers Market, I came across Ube and couldn't resist giving it a try. I opted for the ube flan cheesecake float, which featured ube cream, leche flan, and a biscoff crumble. I was initially concerned that the combination would be overly sweet, but I was pleasantly surprised. The three distinct flavors worked harmoniously together, and it wasn't too sweet—just perfect. My only complaint is that it felt a bit small for $8. Maybe that's due to inflation? Overall, it was a delightful and unique treat for a holiday weekend.

I came across an Instagram post about their pop-up in Fairfax. I tried the fish waffle for $5 each, but I found it to be lukewarm with a minimal amount of filling, which I thought was just average quality. Later, I discovered a bag of frozen fish waffles at a Korean grocery store for $4.99 that had a larger portion. After air frying them at home, I was much more satisfied. I think selling these at pop-ups for $3 to $3.50 would be more reasonable for that level of quality.

We ordered Hokkaido Cheese Tarts and got the yuzu, matcha, salted caramel and ube flavors! I loved their yuzu and matcha flavor a lot! Yuzu was IMO very refreshing to eat. We also got the ube leche flan with biscoff cookies jar. I liked it but wasn't so crazy about it. I would definitely try their other products! The staff were very helpful and friendly too! We met up and picked up our order at the parking lot of the Block in Annandale.

Some parts inside were undercooked. Definitely one of the businesses that values quantity over quality. I bought 3. Only one was evenly cooked. Book a table now
