I really like that there finally a Khmer spot in Cerritos/Artesia area. I do enjoy their Phnom Penh Noodles here, I like mine dry style- only way I like it! My kids like their Fried rice and my mom likes the porridge/ congee. I also love that they make the Chinese donut fresh! Some like to dip in their soup or congee- I love it as an appetizer- lol. Coming in from Texas, there is not a lot of Cambodian food options, so I definitely had to check this place out. We came in relatively late but they still served us! The noodles were delicious and fresh and came in good portions for the price. Shout out to our server Christina who was very quick, attentive, and very nice! I ordered the wings once which was really crispy and well seasoned. The Cha Quai was also delicious, Warm, and crispy. The Phom Penh noodles are very authentic! The portions are a decent size with a very warm and delicious soup. There is also a lot of variety including fried noodles, rice, beef sticks, Boba tea, and more. This was such a great spot! My friends and I really enjoyed our lunch here it was a little out-of-the-way in Cerritos but if you're heading from Temecula winetasting back to Los Angeles, this is a great stop. The student noodles are absolutely delicious and they have this salty fish sauce that comes with it that you pour on top and just absolutely drench it. this had the best beignet esque Chinese donuts that were deep-fried with powdered sugar and everything had huge portions so you could definitely share, and I shared it with my friend and we were both so fall. They give you a bone in broth with your student noodles to which is just so delicious.

This Khmer food is SO. EFFING. GOOD. First of all, their sach go ang (beef sticks) aren't colored with red food die or too sweet. They're perfectly balanced--their kreung tastes housemade/handmade and it's STUPID delicious. The bits of meat are laced with fat that gets rendered out in the grill. Yum. Their soups and kway teov are so good, clean broth. They serve them dry or as soup. Rice settings Noodle Shack is an absolute gem, and one of the better Cambodian restaurants I've been to in the 714.
I absolutely love this place for its amazing selection of noodles. I ordered a dish with tripe in a rich tomato broth, accompanied by thick egg noodles and thin rice noodles. They also offer bread for dipping into the broth, which is delicious on its own but truly wonderful when paired with the soup. It's a bit surreal visiting here since I used to frequent it when it was Guppy Teahouse, but it's definitely a better spot now. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
I absolutely love this restaurant! The Cambodian cuisine is fantastic and prepared in a contemporary style. While it’s traditional in every aspect, the atmosphere is modern and inviting. I appreciate how clean the place is, and the staff are incredibly friendly! Whenever I'm in LA, I always make a point to visit for the comforting dishes. With so few Khmer restaurants in the area, this one truly sets the standard.
RiceString Noodle Shack is excellent, and is worth the drive to Cerritos. I wish there were more Cambodian cuisine restaurants in LA. The main go to dishes for my partner and I have been the meat pie, the loat cha, congee, doughnuts and noodle soups. You won't be disappointed with the food here the smell alone will draw you in for some good Cambodian deliciousness!

Often order #1 with egg noodles and soup on the side. This place is a wonderful location for noodles. Must try bread sticks which go well with the soup; they make it fresh too. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have free pickled chili anymore. Overall, worth the drive.
The place looks pretty gross from the inside but I decided to try it anyways to get a quick tea.I didn't get the tea that I ordered and it came out nearly 10 minutes later. I could see why the place is empty. The blonde girl is an obvious problem.Food: 1/5
