After two days in the Europapark, we wanted to come to one of the locals last night and land on the recommendation of our Riegler Stammhaus hotel. We were warmly welcomed and found a place in the beer garden. We were immediately helped with the linguistic barrier of some local terms. When I walked in on a weekday, I was sort of surprised to find this place as busy as it was. A (friendly) waitress told me there was no table available for me. A man (seemingly the owner, though not sure) overheard this from a distance and pointed out to the waitress that I could be seated in a back-section of the restaurant, that was apparently reserved for invited guests and the owner’s family. I had the house made Frikandellen-Jager option with fries, and was not disappointed. Nothing sophisticated, but nice food for a fair price. On 10.9.2020 with some friends, for hiking at the Kaiserstuhl... we had reserved by e-mail... the whole team, despite the Corona period, was extremely friendly, friendly and friendly to eat, we were very quickly supplied with drinks...and the quality of the kitchen can only be recommended here the warmth and warmth of the food.

For many years we have been back to this place to strengthen ourselves here in the main house. After the excellent food we are very well prepared for the next 800 km!!
