The dinner was mediocre. I ordered the mixed grill and the tenderloin kebabs, and both were quite dry and overcooked; the tenderloin was well done instead of medium, although that was slightly improved with the tenderloin. Each dish was served with rice, which was good, and a side of crisp, slightly charred tomatoes and a boiled pepper. The dryness of the meat was concerning, and combined with the lack of creative presentation, I don't think we will return. The wine was nice at $8 a glass, served in a large glass, which was a plus. I visited a few years ago and this was another disappointing experience.
I was excited to try this restaurant because of the good reviews, however I was totally disappointed in the service and the food. The fresh bread was good however the eggplant dish lacked seasoning and was very bland and the dinner was also very dry. No sauce served along side the gyro. Definitely not what I expected from Turkish food. Service was extremely slow and they informed us after they bring the bill that the credit card machine isn’t working. Good thing we had cash or that would not have been great.
I recognize that a 4-star rating isn't flawless, but to me, it signifies a very positive experience. Achieving a 5-star rating would require something truly exceptional, and Rimtin has earned that distinction. The Mediterranean menu is diverse and includes great options for vegetarians as well. All the food was delicious and well-prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, and everything was affordably priced. We will definitely come back!
What a fantastic addition to Metropolitan Ave. Delicious food with an exotic flare at an unbelievable price range. The addition of wine and beer is a definite plus especially with the affordable price point on a very good wine selection.

Service was excellent; food was superb. I’ve been meaning to try this place and I am glad I did. It is going to be one of my regular stops. My only disappointment was the wine list. I would like to have more choices (but that’s just me).
One of our favorite places. Food is always excellent. Everyone over the top is helpful and friendly. It is great to be welcomed as a friend when you enter a restaurant.
For Mediterranean food it was below average....the zucchini pancakes were oily and had little taste of zucchini.....The lamb was okay....wine priced right at $8.
We have loved the food each time we've dined here. It's great to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.
