We came across this restaurant one evening, had a very enjoyable meal, cant remeber what hubby had but I had a spainish omelete, for something so simple if was delicious, so we decided to go back the following evening and try the chicken paella, we enquired if we could add chorizo to it and that was no problem, We both thoroughly enjoyed it. We met the owner Manual who was extremely friendly, and Tanya one of the waitresses who was lovely and helpful. When we arrived the 2nd night we were remembered by them both. We found the service great and the find if hard to understand the negative reviews, this place was not expensive and full of spainish people which normally tells you something. Hopi...

Restaurants in Spain are always busy on a Sunday and this was no exception. The first thing that we noticed was that a Spanish couple who arrived after us got their food and drink before the waiter had even taken our order. Then he forgot to bring us the salad that usually starts a menu del dia meal when he did bring our drinks. The food was overcooked and we waited quite a while for the waiter to clear away the plates from the main course. We are aware that that the menu is an inexpensive way to eat and perhaps we'd have done better choosing from the la carta. It was generally disappointing. Perhaps because the restaurant was so busy we did not get any of the personal attention mentioned in...

Stopped here for a bite to eat whilst visiting Santa Pola on a cloudy day. There weren't many people around and chose this restaurant as the menu had a bit more choice than some of the other eateries we had walked past. I ordered a still water and an Americano to drink and a Spanish omelette to eat. The food was nice enough and service was friendly and efficient. The only real negative was when I visited the toilet there was a large dead bug on the floor. Everything else appeared clean and hygienic but this did put me off. Not sure I would visit here again.

On a sunny day we walked along Santa Pola beach. It was very busy and difficult to get a table outside anywhere. Santa Pola has many places to eat and we have our favourites, however, as there was a table available we sat down. The food was very poor considering that it was not cheap. We were even astonished that the Russian salad, which we look forward to everywhere in Spain, was terrible and the chorizo in red wine inedible. This has a prime position and must not rely on repeat business. Avoid! Book a table now

Arrived late one evening in santa pola and only place available at 10pm to eat with family of five.... meat and salads were excellent and family enjoyed, whilst we did not try the tapas most of the other people were sticking to the tapas which seemed popular. I had the paella which at best was ok... too much salt and portion of two at best would feed one....service was not the greatest... the family would go back I will not be going back in hurry

It was so awful I can't be bothered to go into detail but when the daily menu is 15 euros and the other restaurants on the same strip are 11.50, we thought it might actually be better! WRONG. The starter of calamari was bland, but the paella was just a few shells and bits of fish swimming in wet rice. Afterwards we discovered lots of new restaurants overlooking the harbour hope to try one this instead on the next visit.

I went with my family and friends for a lunch. Nothing was really good. Maybe I was unfortunate to visit at a bad day. Staff was friendly but very slow, no English was understood and the food was really below a low average. Prices ok if the food would have been ok but it was not.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs Service is appalling and the food is even worse Please do not patronize this restaurant if you want value for money with nicely cooked food. There is not enough room to tell my story but be warned. Book a table now

The owner serves as waiter, so really cares. He does a good seafood paella, tasty fresh anchovies and is friendly and attentive. Good wine.
