"Excellent place people watch. The food is prepared well and are very authentic traditional dishes. The albondigas are especially good and sellout quickly. ¡Buen provecho!"

We went several times to this open air restaurant and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Although quite crowded around 6 p.m., the young people leave just before 6.30 p.m. obviously going to a school. Thus, the noise fades a little until the elderly people are coming. Obviously, the bar is very popular as a meeting point and it is interesting for foreigners to see the daily life in a historical Andalusian town. Food is really value for money (potato preparations, sandwiches) and there is a nice place to relax. The site is not far from the center and at the side of the c/ Provera. Thus, difficult to miss and very inviting if you are not afraid of some noise.

Looked a good place for a drink and lunchtime tapas. The service was slow and the waiter unfriendly. The potato bravos was awful, potato wedges with ketchup piped on the top. The anchovy and cheese roll was better but served on a dirty plate. It wasn't a typical tourist place, no English menu and mostly Spanish families so was surprised at how poor the food was. There is much better to be had in Jerez.

This completely local and inexpensive café caters to those seeking an unpretentious meal or snack. With plenty of outdoor seating, you get a real southern Spain feeling. Although this not the place for gourmet food, it is, nevertheless, very satisfying.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to the train station from the horse show since we did not have any lunch plans. Food here is not terrible but it is nothing to write home about either.
