My waitress couldn't understand English and I ordered beef nachos with tomato, salantro, beans, rice and sour cream and guacamole. The lady gave me nachos with a whole slice of tomato, barely any guacamole and sour cream, barely any meat or beans and just a mountain of lettuce. It was absolutely awful and when I tried to say something to her she just walked away. So I got up and had to talk to the host and ask that very nice young man to bring me chips and salsa because the waitress couldn't even write down my order.... I'm not eating there again until the lady is gone. She couldn't even fill up our drinks. If you eat there make sure you have a male server.
I can see why this place won awards for their food. It's some of the best foods I've tasted in a NC mexican restaurant. I love everything about Rio! The 56oz is not for the weak lol it almost took me out, I couldn't finish it but it was well worth the cost
Best Mexican food in the Iredell. Consistently the best quality, best margaritas, never been disappointed. There's a reason it's always packed on Saturday sometimes with an hour wait. It's worth it.
