Food and service were both amazing! Test the enchiladas Aztecas with chicken and the enchiladas mole with chicken. Both were perfect. The mole was smooth, had a deep, earthy taste and was just sweet enough. The Enchiladas Aztecas was a new experience for me and a welcome one. The sauce was tender and hearty with just a bit of kick. The chicken in both dishes was well seasoned, tender and appropriate. The salsa hit the place and the Slave Served with the chips and salsa was a nice touch and had good taste. Great experience here and if I ever go through again, I will definitely stop here!
I ordered a Chile relleno, which was described on the menu as being battered with egg and fried. However, what I received was a pepper filled with cheese, accompanied by beans and rice that was inedible. The cost was $13.50. When I informed the waitress about the problem, she said she would bring out a properly made relleno. Instead, she brought out an omelet with a pepper in it. I do not recommend this place.

The service at this restaurant was very speedy, but the overall experience was somewhat lacking. The atmosphere felt oddly reminiscent of an office, and the rice was quite dry. However, the chips and salsa were delicious. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars. This was a dine-in dinner with a price range of $10 to $20 per person. I would recommend trying the Chips and Salsa and the Enchilada.
Juan special was great and so was the carna asada. Home-made corn tortillas were fabulios as was Margita, Mojito and Chips and Salsa. Would definitely come back here- thanks Amigos! Terrible food. Way overpriced for what you get and there are too many other Mexican restaurants to choose from in Montrose that are waaaaaay better. Hair in our food to top it all off. Do better.
