Risbo in Brooklyn is an absolute gem, and I'm here to shout it from the digital rooftops! The whatever rice pilaf and housemade sauce? Total game-changers. The atmosphere is a vibe, striking the perfect balance between modern chic and welcoming warmth. The staff is top-notch, making your experience feel personalized and memorable. But what's really skyrocketing Risbo up my favorites list is their spot-on music selection – seriously, it's like they have a DJ for taste. Pricey Bones! Overpriced! Food, atmosphere and vibe are great but the prices are outrageous for what you get. Half the time I leave hungry, most of the food is bones, except the pork and lamb. The protein portions are always super small, we get it protein costs the most but then why am I paying a premium almost $25-30 bucks for a platter of rotisserie chicken or more money if you want lamb lol! Not into paying for bones! The service time takes forever. Avg wait times are 20-30 minutes and you have to bus your own food. You ain't gonna lower the prices so at least give better portion sizes. So overpriced, takes forever, and you leave hungry no thanks
One of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. I love their veg and meat options equally. The chicken is marinated so well and is rich with so much flavor. The Healthy One bowl is hearty, well portioned, and my favorite. My partner and I celebrated 1-year here. Sometimes the no contact, buzzer service has its glitches but I have noticed improvement over time. Come early on a Friday night for a seat! Great heat in the outdoor patio too for winter dining.
This place is so great! Love the communal vibe, great staff and they also have a bar with awesome cocktail selection. I recently discovered there was a backyard that is even heated for the winter months. The chicken is roasted in this herb sauce that is irresistible.
