The service was pleasant, friendly, and efficient thanks to Jess, our red-haired server. I ordered the Prime Brisket Sandwich, and while the meat was decent, it lacked flavor. The portion size was shockingly small (as shown in the picture), leaving me feeling hungry shortly afterward. I gave the staff a chance to rectify the situation, but they simply asked if I wanted to order something additional. Concerned about ordering more food only to be disappointed again by the small portions, I decided not to add anything. I have found the worst barbecue in Texas, and it is here! Management and kitchen managers at this establishment should be embarrassed at the beef jerky on a bone I was served. That they referred to as beef rib! If this was not cooked the night before, sliced up and thrown in the warmer to serve the hundreds of people who come to see the tradition of the stockyards then it was cooked two days before!!!Even the look on our incredible server was like are "you sure you want to order this? "After taking one bite of this embarrassment of BBQ. I ordered a hamburger with no bun and our server quickly and thoughtfully helped me out.
Delicious BBQ ribs, its true. Probably the best I have ever had. They give you a bottle (corona) of salsa BBQ which is awesome. The ribs comes with a all you can eat plate. They serve 4 to start and only when you finish you can order more. Thesides are not all you can eat. They only give you forks so you have to eat the ribs with hands. There will ve plenty of towelpaper. I try The house Rita and is delicious. Totally recommended. To keep going with their classic offer I order the breadpudding. Bath is only for women’s, so you have to be patient. The decoration and everything is really western style. Allstaff is very nice.
Has the two meat barbecue platter. I love the brisket and no so much the smoked sausage but mostly because I like it barbecued on the grill. My son had the Barbecued brisket sandwich and loved it. My daughter gad the chicken club breast sandwich and shesaid it was amazing! Leilani was our server and she was the best! Ask for her for sure. She was super busy but we got servedright away!

Ordered the “ Prime Sliced Brisket Sandwich “.. they didn’t trim the fat for the sandwich.. so it was less Brisket and more fat, the okra was cold and the pickle was warm.. this place has gone downhill! Much better BBQ around, don’t let the Stockyard location fool you!
The BBQ meats are fantastic! The brisket, sausages, and everything else are incredibly tasty. They offer all-you-can-eat ribs and catfish, which is a real treat. There's also a great variety of beers on tap and a nice selection of cocktails.
The Camp Bowie location was terrible lately. A side of potato salad was mostly a spoonful. Fried fish was nuggets and not fillets. Yeah....I know DON'T ORDER FRIED FISH AT A BAR-B-Q RESTAURANT !! Just can't do this location again.
I crossed the street to Ricky's BBQ right after the cattle drive, just before the lunchtime rush. I highly recommend this historic spot! They offer excellent BBQ options, and the staff is fantastic.
