Ristorante Da Mimmo

It's maybe one or two years ago and we had been to 'Da Mimmo's' a few times with friends. It is true, the food is good, and it's a nice place, but frankly, I found the owner rather graceless and rude. For a restaurant which...obviously caters to not just locals and the owner obviously seems to fancy himself as a worldly man, not to take credit cards of any form seems very backward. I have no problem really if he chooses to do this, a bit short sighted and stingy because they don't want to pay the percentage, however, when as a foreigner one makes a reservation, I think one should be told that is the case, rather than being told, when having entertained about friends and wants to pay, sorry c...

The service at this place was only outpaced by the food which were both fantastic. A quick walk from our apartment and near the outskirts of the town. The staff speaks German and English. The head cook makes his rounds often to check up on...things. Lots of locals, of which we are not, which should show you the appeal for repeat customers. I spent time in Bad Weisse over the course of several years and I was delighted to find ristorante da mimmo, which is not only charming and delightful, but which has the best Italian food I’ve found, not only in Germany but maybe in the...states as well. The owner and chef, Mimmo LA Penna, is not only a charming host, but the food is innovative and superb. I highly recommend it! I enjoyed many magical evenings there

My large family and I recently visited Da Mimmo and loved the experience. From beginning to end, the service was perfect, very accommodating for English speakers, and the food was excellent. A great stop in Bavaria

The rooms are quite comfortable and attractive, and the food fresh and tasty at Da Mimmi. Cash only but reasonably priced
