Da Vinci - Table reservation

We came here on our last night in Potsdam. We both just fancied a good pizza which is what we got at Da Vinci. We hadn't booked ahead and it was a Friday night so our choice of tables was minimal. I would suggest booking...in advance unless you want to eat after We ordered some red wine and still water which was bought to the table quickly. The staff were great and friendly to deal with. We both ordered pizzas and when they came they were big! Neither of us managed to finish them. The problem I had with our table was that it was right where people walked by and I did get knocked a few times by passing people which was quite annoying. We also weren't fans of all the Shisha around us

Da Vinci has become my favorite every day go to in Potsdam. It is not a posh fancy best in class restaurant compared to hip places in Berlin. But it is genuinely good and fair: good selection consistently good cuisine, I would...say among the top in Potsdam friendly service, ready to accommodate special requests, nice to children not loud, not quiet, just right very fair pricing the location, building is not terrific but ok and clean of course. The only reason why it doesn't get an outstanding rating

Classic oldstyle setting on main street of Potsdam. The food was typical German although we did not try the pizza when in Rome .... Mostly bland porkbased dishes that did not inspire. A decent place to visit between sights in Potsdam but nothing exceptional....Slow service
