We were on our laborious way from NRW to Berlin and having spent too many hours parked in one traffic jam after another on the famous German car parks (autobahnen - motorways) we decided to cut our losses and find somewhere for evening dinner. We checked out our car's navigation system and found Ristorante Filippo & Peppone located not far from the A2. On entering the sleepy village of Langenhagen we realised that this establishment had a new name - La Villa Grande.We parked for free in the car park on the other side of the road and ran through the rain to the restaurant. in the center of godshorn we have arrived at the midday. the ambiente surprises as it is very lovingly designed really very welcoming. all tables completely covered in the guest room. a second room, separated by a heavy wooden sliding door, offers space for celebration and can also meet up-to-date requirements. the menu well thought out. all classics but also some not so everyday offers. the tomato soup is very tasty but more than a small saucecelle there is not, carpaccio also more clearly. tintenfisch a la livorno also tasty but also little food for the money. the pasta with fresh lachs (children's portion) is placed on a disproportionate dish, and that's exactly what themes are: very tast...
we have been more often in the restaurant - even at the different predecessors. the ambiente stands out from the average-sitting. I can only say that in the cheap midday table in the week you can expect no huge proportions. this is also so in other restaurants.We have been there with nine people on a Saturday and were satisfied under the dash. the noodle dishes are delicious, pizza thoroughly, the meat is well seasoned and the fisherman was also satisfied. from March there will be a Sunday brunch. the so far rather uncomfortable terasses is to be transformed into the new season.
fillipo and his chef and kompagnon peppone have opened here a ristorant that is exceptional, and that in many respects. the card is well structured and also includes feeding over the typical pizzas and pasta ... exceptionally appetizers and a daily changing lunch table round off the offer. why no one has written a review before me I also don't know, there are already some years of this restaurant.
