We started our date night at Ristorante Filippo last night and had a great experience. We chose to sit on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful evening outside. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had checked out their menu online prior to arriving and...found that the menu they handed us was quite out of date and actually changes a bit on a weekly basis. Their menu listed online was accurate to what they had and we were glad to have checked it out before going. We both had different fish dishes and were very happy with them. We ordered scallops as an appetizer and found them to be too salty and a little undercooked. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and would probably go back again.
Uns wurde nach 1,5 Stunden Wartezeit die Hauptspeise serviert. Statt Rucola machte man Blattsalat auf die Pizza und stellte mir diese kommentarlos hin. Ich musste die Bedienung ansprechen deswegen, die nur mit den Schultern zuckte. Ob ich denn jetzt was anderes wolle. ( lehnte ich aufgrund Wartezeit ab) Keine Entschuldigung nichts. Erst als sich jemand von unserem Tisch beschwerte kam jemand der mir einen Grappa als Entschädigung anbot. Kein Problem wenn mal eine Bestellung schief geht aber so wie das ablief... Absolutes Desinteresse und nicht kundenorientiert. Brauchen wohl keine neuen Gäste.
The decor and ambience is pleasant enough and somewhat upscale. However, even with a reservation, we had to wait over one hour for our meal. In the end, the food was not really remarkable especially for the price. The staff seemed either indifferent or defensive...about it. The place was very crowded and that may have been a factor. However, they should be better prepared for that. Really, we believe they just forgot our order. Won't be going back.
Das Essen zu zweit eröffneten wir mit den Vorspeisen Variationen und frittierten Calamaretti. Dazu ein kühles Glas Arneis. Weiter ging es mit ein hervorragenden gegrillten Wolfsbarsch, der am Tisch sachkundig filettiert wurde. Abgeschmeckt mit bestem Olivenöl unf einem weiteren Glas Arneis genossen wir den Hauptgang. Ein Essen bei Fllippo lohnt sich immer.

Job dinner on suggestion of one guest used to go. We understand why he used to go. Great food quality and preparation. Quite original Italian style. People very kind. We eat a fantastic 1 kg beef perfectly cooked. Sicilians guys do it better. Very well also the apetizer in particular beef tartare and home made sausages.
Wie immer starten wir mit den gemischten Vorspeisen. Rindertartar, Lachstartar, hausgemachte Salsiccia, Vitello Tonnato etc. etc. Dann lecker gegrillter Wolfsbarsch mit Kartoffeln, Gemüse und Nudeln: Einfach köstlich. Alle Weine sehr, sehr gut. Und das alles wie immer zu einem vernünftigen Preis.
Endlich mal kein Pizzeria-Frass! Das Restaurant muss man estrmal finden, aber es lohnt sich. Einfache sehr leckere italienische Küche ein sehr sympatischer Service und faire Preise. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen...
Tolle Karte. Selbst gemachte Pasta. Sehr nette Bedienung. Einfach nur lecker und gut. Das Ambiente ist sehr geschmackvoll. Es gibt eine große Terrasse und ein separates großes Zimmer für geschlossene Gesellschaften.

This is a noisy restaurant with poor service unless you're with someone who knows the owner. Food is overpriced for what you're getting. You will need to find street parking which can be difficult.
