It took awhile, but finally made it to Il Duemila after reading the positive reviews. I first have to say that upon arriving, the look inside the restaurant was, well, rather plain. Once seated, looked at the wine list, and it was okay ... as long as you like red wine. No selection of whites to speak of, with fish and seafood on the menu??Anyway, we took the table d'hote. For appetizers my wife had a salad and I had a salami antipasto dish. Both okay. We shared a second course dish which we were led to believe was calamari, but we found after was cuttlefish. It look awful and tasted like a rubbery mushy mess. We had one bite each and no more. Thankfully they took it back. For our main course...
