it was Sunday when many a city in Germany is quite closed, but we happened to be happy during the trip from frankfurt to mannheim and there was a fair thing so that shops were open; there were also food trucks, but we stayed in this...loving, original old building apartment ristorante il gufo. what a luck! we enjoyed a delicious meal 1 carving and 1 hand rolled noodles with tomato sauce both excellent. the service was attentive and friendly and we were so happy.
they wanted a meal and traveled back to the airport frankfurt, so moved from the main car and found this place by travel advisor. I wanted to have a meal in a typical German village. the environment was great and the restaurant was exactly what I wanted for a lunch. freshly cooked food. typical German with large service and price.
