Ristorante Luigi is smart, well appointed and classic. The menu features a variety of wines and aperitifs; classic Italian dishes from salads to soups, pasta, seafood and pizza. Fresh seafood appears to be this restaurant's speciality however we opted for potato truffle soup starters and classic, well prepared fresh dough pizzas.This establishment aims to serve the higher end market and prices are therefore accordingly marked, however the value is satisfactory and the service is efficient and polite.
If you are looking for fresh fish, cooked to perfection and special ambiance this is the right place to go to! With a group of friends we ordered oysters to start with, followed by a fish platter to share. Both were absolutely fresh and definitely the best we had in Austria so far. The professional, friendly service and the lovely setting on the main square in Wr.Neustadt made this evening a special experience. Highly recommended!
Perhaps the best restaurant in town. Classic Italian but with some happy surprises: a whole fresh tuna was on offer when we ate dinner - my brother had a tuna steak grilled to perfection by Luigi himself. The bruschetta as starter was too good. And our waiter suggested a medley of desserts for the table, all memorably tasty.Excellent choice of wines from modest to expensive. Heartily recommend.
Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Ristorante Luigi und haben dort sehr gut gegessen. Meine Kollegin nahm einen Insalata und ich eine Pizza. Beide Speisen waren vorzüglich und preislich in Ordnung. Die Terrasse war Ende Oktober natürlich geschlossen. In den Innenräumen war das Ampiente nett. Für die Anreise einen Parkplatz in der Umgebung suchen und das letzte Stück zu Fuß gehen. Empehlenswert.

The place is really perfect. The meals are great and the service is the same. I ordered potato soup, which was very tasty and also the mussels in souce with garlic. And the dessert was also very tasty. Even general atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and relaxing. I recommend to visit this place
Hab eine Seezunge gegessen, war sehr zart und geschmackvoll. Würde nie eine Seezunge gegrillt bestellen, weil jeder weiß, daß die trocken ist. Mein Mann hatte ein Steak, er hat den Kellner gebeten, es 'well done ' zu braten.. extrem gut!! Das Team war sehr nett. Ein gelungener Abend!
Die Pizza war üppig belegt, die Diavolo war wirklich angenehm scharf. Unsere Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war sehr kurz. Zusammengefasst: gutes Essen, rasch serviert, freundliches Personal, gerne wieder.
We took pastas for lunch and all of those were tasty, well prepared and served fast and with smile. Nice experience. Do not be afraid the white tablecloths either, the prices are not that high.
