Three of us spent 8 hours walking around Vienna, then took the train to Linz. We were staying near Johannes Kepler University and were starving. Someone recommended Benaco Ristorante and that sounded great. It was a warm day but we sat outside to avoid the smokers inside. There was also smoke outside, but a light breeze helped carry it away - apparently Austria has no restriction on inside smoking. We each ordered an entre, and we also split a small pizza which gave each of us 2 slices. The pizza was great - good sauce, a thin but not crisp crust, and generous ham and cheese toppings. We were staying at the Harry's Home hotel, located about a block away from the restaurant. Very convenient.We had an excellent antipasto platter: different meats, cheeses, vegetables (eggplant, arugula, zucchini, dried tomatoes). Tried also 3 different pizzas: thin crust and great flavor. Service was very efficient. English spoken.
Excellent restaurant with very friendly waiters. You gotta try their Tomato-soup and pizza-Napoli. It's awesome....and super tasty ;-) They also offer many different types of pasta. You would love it !
The pizza at this restaurant is very good, they use good products and recipes. The waiting staff is very nice. Definitely worth trying
