Highly recommended for proper pizzas thin, crispy, wood fired oven. Home made ravioli also a total treat. Wine very good value, look out for the regular specials. Have been three times, and consistently exceeds expectations. Thumbs up!

the restaurant is recommended not only because of its good eating but also because of the warmth of the many years of staff! we often come and like to get into this family-run local.
the taverna is and remains our favorite for Italian eating in herford. attentive service and delicious dishes at a moderate price.
