"Great lunch, fair prices and a cool atmosphere. The only gripe of the experience was the service. Waitresses sat back on as they pounded away on mobile phones. HUGE TURNOFF!"

Heard great reviews. Having worked in hospitality for 30 years in London and NYC (waitress to manager) very disappointed. Staff seemed unhappy and literally threw plates and cutlery on table. Most items unavailable on menu. After 30 minutes wrong food arrived angry server said food would arrive in another 10 15. Spoke to manager who explained they've been busy and couldn't understand our disappointment. I understand it's a busy time BUT let servers know what's 86'd. chefs and managers need to value and respect servers since they're dealing directly with customers. Maybe it was just a bad night but I wouldn't risk another visit.

We were excited to walk in because the lounge area was lovely. The tables featured comfy, couch-like high chairs, making it a nice spot to relax after a long day of traveling. The Guinness was enjoyable, and the bathroom was clean, but unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended. The crispy beef came with overly dry rice, the steak and pie were drowning in gravy with hardly any actual steak, and the chicken wings were served cold. They do offer a decent special for a two-course meal with just a £1.50 extra charge for dessert, but the quality of the food reflected its low price.

The oldest continuously operating pub in Derry, established in 1683. We stopped here for lunch after our tour while heading to the bus. The service was decent, and the food was acceptable. We mostly ordered pub fare for a quick meal. A couple of us had the bangers and mash, which were quite good, but the other dishes were rather ordinary. The atmosphere has a vintage pub vibe, complete with a big-screen TV in the back. Overall, it was nothing extraordinary, and we likely won’t be returning. Mark Nancy.

The band I was with played here during the Derry Jazz Festival, we ate in here a couple of times too. The food was very good and the service was excellent, good prices too. Nice modern decor.
