You no longer need to venture to Philadelphia for a cheesesteak. This restaurant serves one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever tasted in New Jersey. Having been to Philly, I can confidently say that this sandwich stands up to the best options there. It features a delightful combination of meat, cheese, peppers, and onions on incredibly soft bread. The chef in the kitchen is exceptionally skilled. If they drive too fast, they will miss it, but I suggest that not. eating is good and they have specificities that turn off weekly. they also recently went through a renovation. that is a cityable, small, great people, good eating. the bartender was really nice and we had a great talk when we picked up our order. even a drink while we waited. I would like to see what this looks like during the rutgers football season, as I can imagine that it will be packed. Stop when you're ever in town.
Great place to grab a beer and sammich. Good selection of brews and a comprehensive menu. Regulars are friendly and fun. Harry the barkeep keeps your glass full and is a nice guy to chat with. I must miss something, go in, drink the evil eye of the 4 guys at the bar, no one behind the bar, was not what you would call a welcoming environment so that we left. Everyone raves about this place, in Fairness, looks like they're doing some work there, maybe we're hitting it for a night.
