So very disappointing.
Beautiful location and a promising menu.
Went specifically to try their seafood platter after seeing it on the menu but was very disappointed to learn they only serve it on weekends. Why not advise this on the actual menu?
We settled for the tempura onion rings and 'Roast' pork belly bao sliders. The onion rings were actually really good however the baos were below average. Dry buns that weren't very fluffy and unbelievably extremely dry meat. They intentionally cut the fat off it, hence no crackle either!
Why would you do this? That's the best bit!
I don't believe there was anything roasted about this pork, clearly only pan fried. What a huge disappointment.

Worst place in Perth. Came here for lunch and ordered the beef salad, my husband ordered the fish and chips and both tasted horrid, the beef was rubbery and stinky and the fish was not cooked through and wad coarse and chewy. My husband then ordered the Margherita pizza and returned the fish and chips however the Margherita had no flavour and tasted like cheese on toast. I returned my beef salad and ordered the pumpkin and Beetroot salad however that was even worse, the pumpkin was stone cold and was still frozen. They still charged us for the pizza and did not seem apologetic. Would never go to this place again. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.
A reasonable dining option by the the riverside. Have had the mussels, the chicken salad, the chicken strips, the steak sandwich. Good serving sizes for price. I think it would be categorised as Asian fusion. Reasonable cafe/pub-style food. It feels quite crowded in there though and this was when it was only half full. Lunch price was okay, median around $25. Would go again for a bite by the river.
Well it was a disappointment to wait so long for breakfast (25 mins). Yes the views are great and the coffee was also 'just ok' I'm not really impressed with the overall experience. Maybe I need to come back and have a second go as it was busy with the mornings travelers off to rotto for the weekend.
I hope it gets better...

Great location, excellent view of the river. I had the poached eggs and bacon on sour dough- just ok .... When they arrived, it took 45 mins!! Only 11 guests in the restaurant, don't understand what was happening in the kitchen. Coffee was ok, staff pleasant enough. I'd consider going back if I had time to kill.
I visited Riverside for coffee & a sweet which is what I normally do after walking around town for a while & seeing the sights in a fresh city. The coffee was passable, the sweet was better, what I did enjoy was the river view though. Situated right on the river near the bell tower.
We had the chilli mussels, fish and chips and the deluxe burger. There wasn't much of a chilli taste in the mussel's but the food was really delish! The outdoor area is undercover and on the water, but not much of a view. Service was really fast and friendly.
Went for breakfast today. Hubby and I had the morning glory breakfast. Only complaint I have is that bacon and eggs were burnt. Nice coffee and kids had the waffles which were amazing. Would return

Only for the river view that's it nothing, over priced menu. We just sat down there just to have some beer and fries, fries were under cooked and expensive. Not recommended.
Really nice food! I had the chicken salad with lychees and it was lovely. Large serving size and the dressing was perfect. Would go back again.
