It took a while to place my order since it was quite busy, but the customer service was incredibly warm and inviting—it felt like chatting with an auntie or cousin. I genuinely appreciate all of you! I didn’t realize this was Marshawn's place until I saw him on Shannon Sharpe's podcast the night before. I thought to myself, “Wow, I’m performing there tomorrow!”

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was simply outstanding, earning a perfect five-star rating. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who ensured we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a lovely dinner. I highly recommend trying the Shrimp and Grits – it's a standout dish that you won’t want to miss!
The food is consistently fantastic! Dave, the bartender, crafts amazing drinks and always brings a sense of humor to the experience. I opted for takeout for dinner, and the prices are very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. I highly recommend the Chicken and Fish Combo, Shrimp and Grits, Breakfast Potatoes, Pork Chop Sandwich with Fries, West Oakland, Biscuits and Gravy, Cornbread, Skittles, Chicken Wings with Red Beans and Rice, along with some Jumbo Shrimp. Don’t miss out on the Fish, Fish Burger, 6 Wings, Fish and Grits, Fried Shrimp, Wings, Potato Salad, and Red Beans.
I have been looking for some GOOD SOUL FOOD........Rob Ben's is the best I have tasted here in the Bay!!!! Hands down everything from the smothered pork chops, rice/gravy, brussels sprouts, corn bread, that MAC N CHEESE though off the hook), oxtails, last but not least the SHRIMP and GRITS I will only eat at Rob Ben's)!!!! Kecia and Shawny both of you ladies are phenomenal!! I sooo appreciate the best SOUL FOOD that I have had in a looong time. Thank you for the Oh and I can't forget about that BEASTMODE drink....delicious. The drive was worth it.

I legit changed my work schedule just so I could make it here on Tuesdays for the tacos. Every single member of the staff is cool as hell and the ladies running the spot are absolute saints. Sure, some other places might have 5-star food like they do but it’s hard to match feeling like family when you walk into a place. Easily one of my favorite spots in the whole Bay Area
Additionally, the attention to detail was lacking. The food quality was very poor, and I was concerned about the unsanitary ingredients used, some of which were not listed on the menu. For instance, the cornbread had unexpected peppers in it, and the shrimp appeared unclean.
Overall, I will not be returning to this establishment.
