So, lets just start by saying that I honestly can't recommend this place enough. I live in Spain, and my sister in the UK and I ordered for her to have an afternoon tea delivered to her house in Darlington. On the order I requested...for it to be delivered between and and when I emailed the cafe for some additional information, they replied back within min with all the answers I needed. On the morning of the delivery I received an email informing me that my delivery would be late. However, this wasn't needed in the end as my order arrived exactly on time. had a standard and vegetarian afternoon tea in restaurant. it exceeded all my expectations! we were already at lunch, but this was our first visit for covid and our first afternoon tea. it was incredible, the best afternoon I had. the service was wonderful, our server was so beautiful and made our visit so special. the aromas of sandwiches and cakes we had were so good, and the scones with their vanilla cream.....delicious.... this is not an ordinary afternoon! a very special tasty, I love this place and we were so glad to be back. highly recommended.
I had ordered a delivery of food to supply us with a ready made main course and pudding for yesterday evening. At whilst the delivery window was still open, I rang to get an idea of timing as I was due to go onto...a zoom call at and wanted to arrange to leave the door open etc. Jane took the call and explained I had ticked for delivery next week! Not good! Within half an hour the food was packed up and delivered together with a specially made pud as all stock had been sold! Now that’s customer service. Thank you so much!
we ordered a holiday cake as a high-time cake for a small high-time this month. the cake was made beautiful and tasted super, and we could have adjusted it more to our lust (for a small fee).
