Negatives: The liquor was perhaps a bit dry and lacked salt. The cake didn’t have much filling and was somewhat bland; it also had a slight sour taste, which I'm not sure about. Personally, I wouldn't choose to revisit, but my partner enjoyed his portion and even shared half of mine.
I hadn't had any cake and magic in over five years, so it was essential to indulge this time. I wasn't disappointed! It was just as I remembered, and you absolutely must try the orange squash—it’s perfection! The shop is very clean, and I felt comfortable while eating there.
