Let's clarify something first: someone published that Roch le Coq had copied Jack le Coq and it's false. After verification, Roch le Coq opened at this location in 2019 while Jack only opened in…2021. Pay attention to your sources on the internet.It's not the nicest place in Montreal but that's part of the restaurant's personality: we do fried chicken, no fuss.For this visit, I took the Rochy at $6.75 (a good indicator of inflation out of control, price increase of +35%?! which is a small chicken burger, “slider” type. Best fried chicken I've tasted in MTL, made with quality products! Not much room inside, better to take away if you are a group. Also, the fries are great so I advise you to poutine your fries ? 3 pieces is more than enough if you’re not a big eater!
Laughable. I can't believe I basically just paid $100 for 11 chicken fingers. Fries also have that terrible cheap crispy batter. Lots of fried chicken places around now, this is the worst I've tried.
