We enjoyed our breakfast at Rock’n Egg Cafe. The menu is very extensive. My Barbacoa breakfast burrito was delicious and enough for two meals! I also enjoyed the fresh salsa. Coffee was nice and strong and topped-off often. My husband enjoyed his Denver omelette with large pieces of smoky ham and cottage potatoes. His only disappointment was that they did not have American cheese, only cheddar. The service was friendly and attentive. There is outdoor seating both in front of the restaurant and on the back patio, where we sat. It’s a cute spot but the back patio could use some TLC. Also the prices feel high, but the portions are generous. And I know everything seems to be more expensive these d...

When you walk in to Rock'n Egg Cafe you can smell the waffle/pancake batterThis place is the best place to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The reason why I gave this place 4 stars was because they forgot to bring the hot sauce and sour cream until a quarter of the burrito was finished. The bagel was the best food. This place has potential to be one of the best restaurants in California. The service was great. We can not forget about the winter muffin, it was so good it reminded me of strawberryshortcake. It was a great experience, it just needs a little better lighting. But overall this is one of the best experiences I have ever had.
The vegan options listed on the menu were not available during our visit. In response to the owner's comment on 11/27/23: Thank you for your reply. However, I want to emphasize that none of the vegan items you mentioned were available when we were there. We were informed that the vegan egg substitute (Just Egg) was no longer in stock at Rock'n Egg, which meant that the items you listed could not be ordered. While I do appreciate the staff's efforts to prepare some basic veggie tacos for me, we chose to visit Rock'n Egg Cafe specifically because of the vegan options you advertised.
Our family of 4 with adult children stopped in. A true hole in the wall but the food was GREAT! My favorite part was the salsa that you can top on whatever you want. They have an extensive menu! Husbands I split a great omelet, good quality ingredients we are pretty foodie and I like to cook/bake! Coffee wasnt to my liking but the waitress was sweet the owner brought us a sample of their famous ham they been making for many years. I think you said they used to have a store in Los Angeles closer to downtown. Book a table now
I was not impressed with this restaurant at all, it is literally a small and uninviting place. Parking is a hassle as there is no designated parking lot, you must find street parking. The interior is dimly lit and in need of a good cleaning. The portions are generous, but unfortunately, the food did not taste very good. If given the choice between this place and IHOP, I would choose IHOP without hesitation. Additionally, the dishes are quite pricey, averaging around $20.00 per plate.
A friend and I visited Rock n Egg while visiting from Texas and Mississippi. The food was delicious and the servings were more than enough! If mimosas could be served then this business would really be on to something! If anyone is looking to try this restaurant, let my review be the reason you visit. The customer service was amazing and many items to choose from on the menu.
This place was fantastic! Everything from the food to the service was excellent. I was extremely pleased with how well I was treated, and the speed at which they brought out the food was impressive. Carlos made this visit particularly enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back and recommending it to others!
This place is a gem. Real LA vibe, extremely nice service, and breakfast specials galore. I was apprehensive to write this because I don't want anyone else to make it busy, but this place deserves it! Book a table now
I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The bacon and eggs scramble, along with a side of French toast, was simply excellent.
Huge portions and great food. Why was my apple juice $8 though?
