We had kingfish, bone marrow and oysters for entre and they were all so delicious. Kingfish and oysters were so fresh, especially the oysters!!! I think these were the freshest we've had. Unfortunately my kingfish had a bone in it : almost swallowed it cuz of course I didn't expect it! I was a little let down for the mains though we had John Dory and steak Chuck Roll and the fish in my opinion was a little too salty, but my partner enjoyed it very much. between the stellar reviews and the personal recommendations of the food I trusted so disappointed and surprised how bad the food and the service was here. we had a reservation about 18 o’clock on a Monday (booked weeks before our trip, as it was. “not to miss” per friend.) we sat at our table for 20 minutes before someone came by to say hi and get our drink order. it took forty minutes to get a drink. to put the stage, the restaurant was probably about 1/4 full and many employees stand around and talk to each other. when the server finally took our order, she came back 10 minutes later, because she had forgotten it and we had to tell her again (amateur lesson.) we ordered the scallops, squi...

I was honestly not sure what I expected. I was really excited to try this place, but literally everything that came out was a disappointment. w overrated and w basic. I make better mac and cheese than that, I make better pasta I make better scallops and I am not even a good cook. was greeted by a young girl who was quite rude to tell me that I was 10 minutes too early for the 6pm dining room, but recommended that I could eat in the bar. was served by a beautiful young lady in the bar area, which for the earlier greeting. the food was good (anchovy and smoked tomato on broth and cheese burger,) but the chips were very oily. the service also good. it was disappointed to be charged a service fee and $9.50 for a glass still water. will not return. I used the Bligh Private Dining Room for a party and was so impressed with the food and the level of customer service. Dealing with Nicolette (reservations) and Adam Deoliya was so easy Catalina, Adam and his team were very friendly and professional which made the whole night relaxing and smooth. The Scallops were out of this world, and the Potato Gratin was delicious. It was a total pleasure to dine at your establishment.

Really lovely service from booking the reservation to the final farewell at the door. I felt well-looked after given my food intolerances and celebrating my husband's birthday, and appreciated that staff took the time to read the reservation notes carefully. Highly recommend! Staff should be proud this was the perfect experience for us.

The effort of the service staff and attention to detail was superb. The good quality ingredients and skill of the kitchen artisans showed in the preparation and presentation of the food, and hence the meals tasted as good as they looked. Our Group had an excellent evening well done new era Rockpool!

The service was outstanding Adam and Benny were so accomodating and made it an enjoyable experience for all of us throughout the night. The food was great, especially the calamari and the steak which was very tender. Definitely recommend for a birthday dinner or date night. Book a table now

Amazing building! Fantastic steak! Wood fire grilled dry aged beef that are not burnt completely black, which many other steak restaurants cannot achieve. Price is reasonable considering the high quality food you are getting! Must go if visiting Sydney! Highly recommended!
