We had kingfish, bone marrow and oysters for entre and they were all so delicious. Kingfish and oysters were so fresh, especially the oysters!!! I think these were the freshest we've had. Unfortunately my kingfish had a bone in it : almost swallowed it cuz of course I didn't expect it! I was a little let down for the mains though we had John Dory and steak Chuck Roll and the fish in my opinion was a little too salty, but my partner enjoyed it very much. The steak was cooked to rare I think.. we asked for medium rare xD my jaws still hurt from chewing you know? My square face gonna get more square! Potato puree was good! Such a slim seat and professional operation. Have fun visiting the Rockpool, if you have stops - please have one in Brisbane? Came punctually for our booking and sat down, brought menus and water quickly. Specials were explained and after ordering drinks we need to have the menus peruse.
I really love the pages in Rockpool.
The desserts were a highlight this time. Special start restaurant.
It's a great experience: a fantastic space and excellent service being the stand-outs. The food is, of course, really good, but doesn't justify the prices. There are plenty of places in Sydney where you'll get equally good food for 2/3 of the price of less.
Still, for a special occasion (or if someone else is paying) it's well worth a visit.
Amazing building! Fantastic steak! Wood fire grilled dry aged beef that are not burnt completely black, which many other steak restaurants cannot achieve. Price is reasonable considering the high quality food you are getting! Must go if visiting Sydney! Highly recommended!

The Art Deco, the atmosphere and the service are not a second, one of the best pieces of meat I had long that Lendenloin on the bone 60+ days is amazingly tender and delicious
A place to visit for a steak lovers.. central location, serving staff knows their products well, they have wide range of beef selection & their dates cake is a must to try
Great food, friendly service and a nice setup in which we were placed on a balcony over the other guests. If I had to pick a thing, I would say the lighting is a bit boring.
