Myself, husband and another couple have been frequent customers for the past 10 years. The food was always perfectly prepared and the quality was excellent and consistent. Last evening was our first meal under the new owners. The first thing we noticed was plenty of parking and no wait to be seated. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed in the meals and service. Under the new ownership there is an obvious decline in quality and care. My husband and the other gentleman ordered the pork chops which previously were thick, juicy and perfectly prepared. The pork chops were very noticeably thinner, dry and flavourless. The borscht which previously was one of the best in the city was watery,...
My sister and I were in Stonewall on a Monday. We decided we were going to eat at a different restaurant there, but it was closed. We went looking for another place to eat. Neither of us had ever eaten at La Petit before. The place was busy, but the staff was warm and welcoming. They have a good selection of food and the prices are very reasonable. The portions were also quite large and the staff was wonderful, they kept the coffee refills coming. I'm glad we happened across this restaurant. The food is so good, too!
We had breakfast with friends while visiting Stonewall. We were seated quickly our server was friendly, the restaurant was busy. Our food came hot and tasty, I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, and sausage, hash browns with toast, my wife had omelet hash browns and toast. The food is homemade, very filling, recommend if you are hungry
I was very impressed from when I walked into the restaurant. greeted with a smile and hello very prompt service. I had the bacon double cheese burger an excellent sloppy burger and lots of fries. great place to eat
