Based on some reviews we read online, we decided to give Roddies a go. We had battered cod and chips. Perfect! Large portions of fish and we ordered extra chips as some places are a bit mean with chips. We had more than we needed so very happy with that. If in Warwick and you want fish and chips, this is the place to go to. Unfortunately, they didn't have any lemon wedges on the day we went (they were being delivered the next day). Would be a good idea to have some lemon juice available to buy when fresh lemons aren't available.
Chips were very nice, however everything was a little too oily or the oil was old.Left us feeling sick and were not able to eat dinner later. We ate on a Sunday and it seemed a quiet day, not sure how much business they would get or how often the oil is changed.Recommend the chips and perhaps go for crumbed instead of battered
Tried Roddies for the first time as I had heard good things about it. Ordered a seafood basket. Found the fish dry, the chips and practically everything else so oily that I gave up and couldn't finish the meal. Oil way to over-powering
Well-priced fish and chips. I had the $10 hoki, chips and potato scallops deal. Very generous serving. Eat here instead of the Subway next door.
