Was surprised reviews were higher. Cute and charming place....but staff was unattentive...and patio was dirty and needed a serious washing to remove spilled liquids, cob webs, and proper adjustment to wobbly tables other than stuffing folded paper napkins under a leg. Food was very average and tempura soggy. Was sad....because it could be great with a little more TLC. Parking: Great arrangement Service: Dine in
I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. Our server, Tess, was fantastic and really took the time to explain the menu. The ambiance is somewhat limited, with hard surfaces and bright lighting, which makes the noise level quite loud when the space fills up. However, the food was good, and there was a nice variety of options to choose from.
I ordered the following dishes: The Garlic Noodles were served very hot, and the flavor paired nicely with the ground chicken. The Vegetable Tempura featured a light batter, which might appeal to those who prefer it that way. The Hamachi Onion had a pronounced Ponzu flavor. Overall, the dishes were decent, but I haven't had a chance to try the fried chicken yet.
Roe offers outstanding food! We ordered two sushi rolls, a homemade burger, a bowl of noodles, and some popcorn chicken, along with four appetizers: shishito peppers, Brussels sprouts, tempura, and edamame. Excellent food, wonderful staff, and I can't wait to return! Every ingredient was fresh, and the flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced. The staff was friendly and approachable, and since we were unfamiliar with the area, she provided us with helpful information for our visit.
