Let me not start on a downer. The food is delicious and my mouth was certainly burning with spice as intended! On the other hand the gentleman that always seems to answer the phone is rude, he never passes the phone onto the manager when...politely requested (maybe its actually him himself even though he claims the manager is not in). Improving on customer service would go a long way as he has now lost me as a customer and who knows who else. Furthermore by all means order from this place if you would like to clean before you eat it. I have really politely asked on many occasions if they could be more careful when driving. Clearly the message never gets taken on board. He is quick to hang up...
I ordered chicken tikka main meal (which like every Indian takeaway comes with salad I didn't receive the salad with this. I rang back to tell them they must have forgotton, which was not a big deal as this has happend on many occasions before,...then they told me they haven't got any. Next time instead of sending half a meal and charging full price, inform your customer that you are out of stock. I would of re ordered and not left this review, but the fact he was rude to me and hung up on me on two separate occasions! Is just plain rude and not very professional. Despite giving the benefit of the doubt to a restaurant chain with multiple locations and trying to support a local business, I have been let down. Without any apology, I had to wait for takeout for over 1.5 hours, only to receive small portions and a cold meal. (I live less than 2 miles away.) I wanted to give them another chance, but after being consistently disappointed, I had to write this review. I'm sorry, but you left me no choice, grill.
love Indian food. we visited there yesterday evening (9th july), I must say that eating was really good! I had methi gosht and asked for it to be something more spicy, was no problem for her to do it at all! Just... that they ran out of tears that's strange for an Indian, but I managed to secure another's tear! I was very happy with eating! Book a table now
I have never had a problem with this restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious. It is one of only two Indian restaurants that I order from, and I have been ordering from them for 20 years. I have never received missing items or the wrong product. They always bring the correct food and I have never had a bad meal from them.
I have visited this restaurant several times because it is conveniently located for me, and I have never experienced any of the issues mentioned in the review below. The food is delicious, and even when I choose takeout, it is always ready within 20 minutes. I have no complaints.
They took nearly 2 hours to deliver (late on a Sunday night after they said it would be 50 minutes. When it finally arrived my partner and I were super disappointed with our curries as they were flavorless and bland. Definitely won't be going back.
I think this tandoori is very reasonably priced... You so get 5 big pieces of chicken in each curry so clear that is measured but the meat is nice and food is reliable. Book a table now
